Want to get involved? We are always looking for people to join the team!

There are several ways you can help with the project:

• Help organising
  If you have regular time you can commit to the project and would like to join the team, please get in touch! This might involve helping with fundraising and grant applications, running our social media and website, or staffing the library itself.

• Sorting, testing and cataloguing library items
  We’ll be running regular sessions for sorting through donated items, checking that they work, and cataloguing them in our system. If you’d like to help with the project but can’t commit time regularly this is a great way to help on a one-off basis. If you’d like to help in this way please get in touch, and we will let you know when we will be running these sessions.

• Repairing items
  Given the range of items we will stock – from electrical items to baby clothes, wooden tools to tents – we need people with all sorts of skills to keep the items in good condition. If you have experience of fixing particular kinds of items (even if it’s just that you’ve succesfully fixed your own tent or can darn a pair of socks!) and would be interested in helping, please get in touch and tell us about your skills. We will add you to our list of volunteer repairers, and will contact you as things need repairing.
